My story
I have always baked with my mom since I was a little girl, so baking has always been a passion of mine. I was gifted a loaf of sourdough in 2020 from my friend Lindsay and I was hooked.
Fast forward to 2022 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a double mastectomy surgery coming up in March 2023. In February I began a sourdough starter, and have been making bread ever since. Making bread for others is healing for my soul.
I love the time and care a loaf of sourdough takes. I love creating new and fun flavors, and trying out new designs.
My ingredients
I use only the best ingredients in my breads including King Arthur Baking bread flour and pink Himalayan salt. When I add in mix-ins I source from our local grocery store, or local farms. When there are so few ingredients, the quality matters.
I believe my bread is only as good as the ingredients I use.
