My story
I’ve been baking all my life with my mom, so baking has always been a passion of mine. I opened Amy’s Cupcake Shoppe in Hopkins, MN in 2016, and started making sourdough at home in 2020 after being gifted a loaf.
I have been making sourdough for a little over three years now, and i’m ready to share everything I have learned, so you too can make sourdough. I wrote an eBook teaching you the basics from start to finish.
Baking is truly a passion for me that lights up my soul, and i’m so honored you came to my little corner of the internet to share the bread journey with me.
My ingredients
Sourdough has so few ingredients it makes it extra important to have them be of the highest quality. I use King Arthur Flour bread flour and pink Himalayan salt. My whole wheat flour is fresh ground at a farm in Aitkin MN.
Any add-ins will be organic and from local as often as possible. Cheers to yummy and good-for-you bread.
